Bangkok: not in
Vancouver anymore Toto…
Been in Bangkok for three days and thought I would instill the infinite
wisdom I have picked up to date.
Top 10 things Greg has learned in Old Siam:
1. Dogs can flourish without leashes, without owners, without food source
and without a cute disposition
2. I've always been tall, just in the wrong country.
3. It's often easier to make your plane on time when you don't lock your
keys in your car before hand. (yes and I made it thanks to BCAA and friendly
Vancouver traffic; it's not an oxymoron)
4. Suggestion of arriving 2 hours before your international flight is
over-rated, 20 minutes will work too. (Only for those with a strong heart)
5. You can fit a family of 5 on a scooter, and not be in the circus.
6. Pedestrians have no right of way in BKK
7. Never make eye contact with Tuk-tuk drivers
8. Not everyone will tell the truth in Thailand, not even those with a big
smile.
9. Lovely Thai people are truly beautiful inside and out, but are worn down
by Farangs (tourists)
10. Thailand is a magical place.
Stay tuned, more adventures to follow, film at 11:00.
